Mirror Driving Academy Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Mirror Driving Academy. By booking lessons with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.
1. Booking and Payments
1.1 Lesson Booking:
All lessons must be booked in advance. Bookings can be made via email, phone, text and WhatsApp.
1.2 Payments:
Payment for lessons must be made in advance. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers. Block bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking to qualify for the discounted rate.
1.3 Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Failure to do so will result in the full lesson fee being charged. For block bookings, the same notice period applies for each individual lesson.
2. Intensive Courses
2.1 Eligibility:
Intensive courses are available to learners of all levels. The duration and structure of the course will be tailored to the learner’s experience and requirements.
2.2 Payment:
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking an intensive course. The remaining balance must be paid 7 days prior to the start of the course.
2.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling:
Intensive courses are subject to rescheduling must be done at least 7 days in advance.
3. Conduct and Responsibilities
3.1 Learner Responsibilities:
Learners must bring their provisional driving licence on first lesson. Must share the check code from DVLA. It is the learner’s responsibility to ensure they are fit to drive. Any medical conditions or medications that may affect driving must be disclosed to the instructor.
3.2 Instructor Conduct:
Our instructors are DVSA-approved and committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment. If you have any concerns about your instructor, please contact us immediately.
3.3 Vehicle Maintenance:
All our vehicles are regularly maintained and meet the safety standards required for driving instruction. In the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown, we will reschedule the lesson at no additional cost.
4. Driving Tests
4.1 Test Booking:
Learners are responsible for booking their driving tests. We can provide assistance with this process if needed.
4.2 Test Day:
On the day of your test, you must bring your provisional licence and the booking confirmation. If you are using our vehicle for the test, it will be available at the agreed time and location.
4.3 Test Cancellations:

5. Refund Policy
5.1 Single Lessons:
Refunds for single lessons are only available if the lesson is cancelled by us or if the required notice period for cancellation is given.
5.2 Block Bookings and Intensive Courses:
Refunds for block bookings and intensive courses will be prorated based on the number of lessons taken, minus any cancellation fees if applicable.
6. Privacy Policy
6.1 Data Protection:
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of providing driving instruction and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
6.2 Contact Information:
We may use your contact information to send you updates and promotional offers. You can opt-out of these communications at any time.
7. General
7.1 Amendments:
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you and posted on our website or Facebook page.
7.2 Governing Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
